No time to run to the museum during regular hours? No worries! Every Tuesday, NOMA will close at 9 pm instead of 6 pm so everybody can visit their Queen Nefertari exhibition.

After feasting your eyes on all of the Egyptian artifacts, you’ll be able to browse artful gifts, catalogues, accessories, and more at the Museum shop.
Also, don’t forget that Café NOMA is offering a special menu of Egyptian food through July! These include a cocktail called Nefer-tini, snacks, and happy hour bites inspired by the exhibition.
About Queen Nefertari’s Egypt
NOMA opened its doors to Queen Nefertari’s Egypt in March. The artifacts presented will provide a comprehensive look into the power and influence of women during the period known as “The New Kingdom,” when the civilization was at its height.
Explore the life of Nefertari through different objects, a fascinating woman who not only served as the queen but also as a diplomat and queen mother.
The exhibit feature more than 230 artifacts from this period, highlighting the role and legacy of women in Egyptian culture. These include sculptures, objects, votive steles, stone sarcophagi, painted coffins, and items of daily life. Read more about it here.
