Remember we reported a few months ago that the NOMA was opening an exhibition with Egyptian artifacts and objects? The Nefertari exhibition is finally opening this week and we’ve got more exciting news for museum lovers.
During the duration of the exhibit, which runs from March to July, visitors will be able to try different traditional Egyptian dishes that will be added to their menu as well as experience cooking demonstration and happy hours inspired by cuisine.
This amazing project has been made hand in hand by the museum chef and Khaled Hegazi, poet and writer, motivated by home cooking, street food, and sophisticated cuisine from his homeland.
Remember that you can visit the Café NOMA without entering the museum and prepare your taste buds to try dishes like feta cheese and fresh vegetables, dolma filled with lamb and beans, and flatbread sprinkled with cumin. It’s free every day just request a ticket at the front desk!
