The Buku Music + Art Project is doing a spring return this year, taking place in Mardi Gras World the last weekend of March. The musical and cultural event features an underground warehouse party vibe celebrating the progressive subculture of NOLA.
It’s been held since 2012, and it seeks to serve as a platform for the intersection of pop culture and the local arts community, with local food vendors, visual artists, and pop-up street performers through the venue. In addition to the great musical performances, BUKU will treat ticket holders to art installations that include sculptures, paintings, and graffiti.
This is a 17+ event; you must be 17 or older with a valid government-issued photo ID that will be checked at the gate at the time of your entrance to the festival.
