Emma Colosia Emma Colosia

Enjoy NOLA’s weather this fall with a picnic at the Botanical Gardens. Kitchen in the Garden offers a delicious array of food for visitors of all ages.

Just pick up your boxed meal, find your favorite spot in the grass and experience the flowers and plants like never before.

Food is cooked at the Kitchen in the Garden by Chef Pat White, who will cook various fresh foods.

Picnics are available Wednesday through Sunday.

Don’t forget to buy your picnic beforehand as boxed lunches every day is limited. There are not a lot of chairs, so you can bring your own and find a shady spot.

Remember, face masks covering the mouth and nose are now required to enter the garden, per the City of New Orleans directives.

Secret Tip: It’s free for Louisiana residents on Wednesday!

This is where you can buy your picnic.
