Christmas in the Park is now open in NOLA! Get ready for family fun.
Have you already been to Celebration in the Oaks? If you’re looking for another fantastic light show in the Big Easy, you can’t miss Christmas in the Park 2021 at LaFreniere Park.
Christmas in the Park
This park in Jefferson Parish lights up with millions of twinkling lights and displays that will bring a smile to your face. This holiday tradition features decoration, artificial snow, and special appearances by our favorite Christmas characters, including Santa Claus, Rudolph the reindeer, Frosty, Grinch, and Elf. For the first time, attendees will enjoy performances from local schools on special days.
This year, your children will be able to see how Santa’s helpers build toys for everyone. They will also be hosting an interactive walking tour set to memorable scenes of your favorite holiday classics. If your children have not sent their letter to Santa, there will be a magical Elf Post Office.
You can purchase tickets at the LaFreniere Park website.
Remember the park is open from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm daily, so be there early and spend time outdoors. There are soccer fields, ball fields, a health track, and a Marsh Island where visitors can see flora and fauna of Louisiana year-round.
