If you love crawfish, then you’re not going to want to miss this historic festival!
The 45th Annual Louisiana Crawfish Festival is coming to the St. Bernard Parish Frederick Sigur Civic Center this April 29 through May 2, 2021.
The festival promises to be a weekend packed with entertainment, and crawfish prepared anyway you like it! Bands like Zita, Karma, No Idea, and many more will be performing live music throughout the event.
There will amusement rides, delicious food, handmade crafts and lots more fun for everyone! It’s set to be an incredible celebration of Louisiana cuisine and New Orleans!
In 1975, the Knights of Columbus Rummel Council 5747 saw a need in the St. Bernard Community. Debating on how to raise funds, a member of the council suggested that they host a festival, and so the Louisiana Crawfish Festival began.
Entry to the festival is $5 except for Thursday, with food and fairground rides costing extra. There will be a children’s pageant held on the Saturday, with lots of prizes to be won!
Not only will there be COVID-19 regulations in place, but the festival will also be offering COVID-19 vaccines with St. Bernard Hospital/Ochsner Health, St. Bernard Parish Government and Nunez Community College Nursing.
The 45th Annual Louisiana Crawfish Festival is taking place on Thursday, April 29 from 5pm until 10pm (Free Admission), Friday, April 30 from 5pm until 11pm ($5 admission), Saturday, May 1 from 11am until 11pm ($5 admission), and Sunday, May 2 from 11am until 9pm ($5 admission).
