The pop-up can be found at different spots around the city, serving tasty lobster on buttery bread with a side of chips.
Joel grew up in Connecticut, where this delicious dish can be found everywhere. However, after moving to New Orleans five years ago to study business at Tulane, he realized they weren’t as easy to find in Louisiana.
“New Orleans is such a seafood city that I was shocked that lobster rolls really didn’t exist here,” he said to Uptown Messenger.
His recipe is Connecticut-style: warm lobster with melted butter served on a toasted bun. Customers can also ask to top his version with a lobster bisque drizzle.
