
This weekend is your last opportunity to be part of a unique yoga class surrounded by nature and art at the NOMA’s Sculpture Garden.
The New Orleans Museum of Art has partnered with East Jefferson Wellness Center and presents a yoga class at the Besthoff Sculpture Garden on Saturday mornings.
Tomorrow is the last Saturday class of this year, and the only thing you have to do is register online at their official website.
Classes are just $5 and free for NOMA members and East Jefferson Wellness Center members. The class is from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and yoguis are asked to meet at the main entrance of the Sculpture Garden located on Dueling Oaks Drive. Don’t forget your own yoga mat!
Registration will remain open until 3:00 pm today. There are only 60 spots, so book yours asap.
About the Sculpture Garden
The Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden occupies eleven acres in City Park, just adjacent to the NOMA. The garden is full of pines, magnolias, and live oaks surrounding two magical lagoons. It includes more than 90 sculptures.
