Bad news music lovers! The organizers of The Voodoo Festival have confirmed the next edition will be until Halloween 2022.
Every year we looked forward to Halloween Weekend in Nola. The Voodoo Festival was a musical treat that mixed culture with community, mystery, and adventure. However, it seems like we’ll have to wait a while before we enjoy it again.
Last year The Voodoo Music + Arts Experience was cancelled due to COVID and we’re sad to inform you that it won’t be coming back this 2021 either.
The organizers confirmed the cancellation of this year’s edition through a statement on their website:
“Voodoo Music + Arts Experience will pause in 2021 and return to City Park for an epic Halloween experience in 2022. As our city reopens with an abundance of events to reconnect with, we look forward to holding our reunion when we can fully embrace the Voodoo experience”.
They added that current ticket holders would receive an email from Front Gate Tickets, including information about rollover and refund options.
We will certainly miss this year’s festival, but we’re sure the 2022 Voodoo will blow our minds!
