New Orleans’ second oldest restaurant and the birthplace of the Grasshopper cocktail, Tujague’s is the perfect perch for modern Creole cuisine and seasonal libations. Now, the iconic dining institution is thrilled to announce the launch of Weekend Happy Hour every Friday – Sunday from 2:30 PM – 5 PM.
Bar Manager Amber Harrington has left no stone unturned with Happy Hour selections. Certain to please any type of imbiber, the menu features $7 Sazeracs, Old Fashioneds, Palomas, and French 75s; $7 Tujague’s Private Label Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Blanc de Blanc, and Moulin De Gassac Rosé; and $5 local craft beer. Additionally, guests can enjoy specialty Happy Hour bites by Executive Chef Gus Martin. Tasty temptations include Boudin Balls served with pepper jelly; Truffle Fries; Crispy Pork Belly served with Parmesan polenta and pepper jelly gastrique; Tuna Poke – yellowfin tuna, red onion, orange, avocado, black sesame seeds, and a spicy hoisin soy sauce served over rice; and Crawfish Au Gratin – Louisiana crawfish tails with a decadent mornay sauce served with French bread crostini.
Weekend Happy Hour is offered in the bar, parlor room, courtyard, and balcony every Friday – Sunday from 2:30 PM – 5 PM. The restaurant serves dinner Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 5 PM – 9 PM; Friday and Saturday from 5 PM – 10 PM. Brunch is served on Friday from 11 AM – 2:30 PM; Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM – 2:30 PM. Reservations are encouraged and can be made on OpenTable.
