The beginning of spring can feel like a fresh start—a great time to spice up a humdrum workout routine. The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel is bringing back its popular rooftop Healthy Happy Hour series in collaboration with Footprints to Fitness. A mix of yoga, Pilates, and other exercises, the 6:30 p.m. classes will be held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays in April and May.
With beautiful views of Crescent City, Roosevelt’s rooftop pool deck is usually reserved strictly for hotel guests. The Healthy Happy Hour exercise classes give locals an opportunity to take in the vistas while they work out and mingle with fellow fitness-minded people. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Footprints Foundation which partners with other local organizations to provide underserved New Orleans area communities high-quality CPR/First Aid and fitness programming for those who are unable to afford it.
