The NOMA is celebrating all Louisiana teachers by offering them free admission until the end of this year!
Good news for educators who love museum visits! The NOMA has announced via press release that Louisiana teachers will have free admission through 2021 to celebrate all educators in the state.
“We respect our teachers and honor their commitment to student learning and well-being,” said Susan Taylor, Montine McDaniel Freeman Director. “We hope this gesture will provide more opportunities for educators to engage with and experience the arts, both in and out of the classroom.”
Teachers are also being encouraged to contact the NOMA Learning & Engagement team for ideas on integrating the collections available at the museum in their classroom or even schedule a virtual visit.
Educators in our state have been tested incredibly, first with converting classes into a virtual mode due to the pandemic and later with the impact of Hurricane Ida, which left more than 70,000 students out of school. Tell all of your teacher friends to visit the NOMA before the year ends!
