This was a hard week, especially after the Voodoo Festival announced that they will be canceling this year’s edition, yet again, leaving the future of the event uncertain.
However, things turned around this Thursday, after it was announced that Oak Street Po-Boy Festival will be coming back this November. Yes, we’re talking about the annual delicious event we celebrate New Orleans’ sandwiches.
This year’s festival is coming back bigger than ever, with more than 40 food vendors, four stages of music, an arts market, and a kids zone.
The tasty tradition will also feature a po-boy competition by local restaurants.
Proceeds from the annual festival benefit Oak Street Merchants, Residents, and Property Owners as well as the non-profit “Son of Saint”.
When: November 6
Where: Oak Street, New Orleans
Admission: Free but a $5 wristband must be purchased to access the Po-boy vendors
