Escape from a zombie apocalypse during the New Orleans Zombie Run next Saturday, October 22.
You can’t say you know New Orleans if you haven’t dedicated multiple days of October to experience the Halloween vibe. The Big Easy is a city that is known for its mystical culture that has always been connected to voodoo, zombies, ghosts, and the unknown. And there’s a unique annual experience you can’t miss, especially for those that are fitness freaks. We’re talking about the classic New Orleans Zombie Run, scheduled for October 22 this year.
The morning of next Saturday, all participants will escape the zombie apocalypse by running 2 miles dressed in their best costumes. They’ll have to avoid getting caught by the Big Easy Rollergirls, otherwise known as Zombie Killers.
The zombie-infested race is through the beautiful Warehouse District, starting and finishing at Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar & Restaurant.
After the race, stay in costume and enjoy the Krewe of Boo! Halloween Parade in the French Quarter until sundown! Tickets are sold on their official website.
