No plans for this Memorial Weekend? Celebrate Greek culture, cuisine, and traditions at the New Orleans Greek Festival. Taking place from this Friday through Sunday at Bayou St. John, the event features Greek food, wine, pastries, and other authentic desserts.
Tickets are now only being sold at the gate for $10 and visitors will be able to listen to live, traditional Greek dancing and a Greek band. Don’t forget to tour the Cathedral and do some shopping while your children enjoy the Athenian playground for kids.
For the first time, ticket holders will also be able to try:
Mythos Greek Beer: A light straw-colored lager beer in the bottle.
Greek Wine Flights: Four flights, two red and two white.
