The Crescent City is turning into Croissant City this Tuesday! A new addition has come to Frenchmen Street. We’re talking about the women-owned Ayu Bakehouse, which opened today in this beautiful area of town and is now offering freshly baked bread to tourists and locals.
Walk through this popular street in the Big Easy and let the aroma of artisanal bread lure you into their door. The menu includes sourdough loaves, baguettes, cookies, pecan knots, babka, candy crimson bean rolls, breadsticks as well as sandwiches and salads you can eat while sipping on a hot or cold drink. Here’s the complete menu.
The perfect spot to begin (or finish your day). Let us know if you went and what you ordered!
Ayu is open daily from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm on 801 Frenchmen Street.
