New Orleans’ beloved Movies In The Park has an incredible line-up for spring and summer!
Movies in the Park is a seasonal program that features family-friendly, free outdoor movie screenings at NORD playgrounds for residents across the Big Easy.
This years spring and summer line-up features an array of show-stopping, family blockbusters. The present schedule promises to keep the entire family entertain throughout the next few months.
From Disney favorites like the Lion King and Aladdin, to star blockbuster movies like Onward and Jurassic World. Movies In The Park have killed it this season!
Residents are encouraged to arrive early to visit with family and friends and participate in fun activities before the movie. Movies start at dusk so you’ll be able yo enjoy the movie with your friends and family as the sun sets over New Orleans.
Make it extra special by making sure you’re comfortable and by bringing lots of tasty snacks. Movie goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnics.
There are several locations across the city, depending on the movie and screening you desire. Locations include the Lafitte Greenway and the Rosa Keller Library.
Movies start between 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., and will be moved indoors if there is rain. The events are free but due to the ongoing pandemic, reservations are compulsory.
