Faubourg Brewing Company have officially started their anticipated roll-out.
The story of Faubourg Brewing Co. is a long, twisting tale. The beer perfectionists began as Dixie Brewing in 1907, when Valentine Merz opened the doors of his brand new brewery at the corner of Tulane Avenue and Tonti Street.
Their modern-day glow up is officially underway, with the first beers brewed and ready to be scattered across NOLA.
Faubourg’s is now the new brand for the former Dixie Beer. The brewery was renamed Faubourg Brewing Co. in 2020 as a tribute to the diverse neighborhoods that flavor our gumbo-pot home.
Jazz Expanding: Exciting Jazz Venue In The Works For North Broad In New Orleans
The beer connoisseurs have an incredible tap house that serve their innovative beers. We recommend Westwego. A West Coast style IPA which features tropical and citrus notes that are super refreshing. Also, local bands and musicians play out in their awesome beer garden every weekend, so you can enjoy your beer with some live music.
From day one, locals loved that the South’s largest, most innovative brewery was right here in their hometown — and the neighborhood beer of New Orleans was born. You’ve got to check it out, New Orleans!
Faubourg’s brew park is open every Monday through Thursday from 2pm-6pm, Friday from 11am-7pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am-7pm.
