Fishing lovers! You all have a date this Saturday morning at City Park for a fun and hands-on fishing workshop.
Learn to fish or step up your game with LOOP NOLA. They’ve been teaching local youth to fish for the past two decades.
Rods, reels, lures, and fishing stories will be provided.
Assistants aren’t asked to bring anything but a willingness to learn and a water bottle.
The program will include the basics of casting, what types of fish are found in the waters of City Park, how to differentiate them, and what kind of lures or bait to use when fishing in freshwater in Louisiana.
The workshop is kid-friendly, specifically for children from 8 to 17, although an adult must accompany them.
See you at 9:00 am sharp at the City Park Peristyle.
